FAQ: Do you ship internationally?
Answer: No, we are currently only shipping to U.S. addresses. We recommend the U.S. based shipping service bongous.com for international customers who would like to purchase cards from our website.

FAQ: My credit/debit card appears as if it was charged multiple times for one purchase after my order was declined, what do I do?
Answer: When an order is attempted with a credit/debit card a hold is automatically placed for the amount of the order for 2-3 business days even in the event the card is declined. This is standard procedure for credit card processing. We recommend making sure you enter the billing information exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. If the word Street is spelled out please spell out street instead of abbreviating as ST.

FAQ: I received a tracking number but USPS.com says electronic shipping information received - When will my items ship?
Answer: Your order was processed and marked shipped the moment you receive your tracking number. Orders are dropped off at our local USPS office daily at 5 pm est (our office closes at 5:30 pm est.) Due to the large volume of mail that we ship our local post office does not always scan our items when we drop them off so the first scan you may see could be 1-5 business days after mailing and will state ?arrived at local sort facility? or something of that nature. If you?ve received a tracking number and a shipped email your order has been processed and shipped during the regular business day.

FAQ: What about orders marked shipped after 5 pm est and/or Sunday shipments?
Answer: In the event we receive a larger than normal amount of orders we do process orders after hours to catch up on the mail. If you?ve received a tracking number after 5 pm est your order will ship the following business day. Sunday shipments are dropped off on most Mondays, unless there is a federal holiday.

FAQ: I double clicked on TCGPlayer and accidently placed a duplicate order! How do I cancel the second order?
Answer: Email sales@empirecards.com and we will take care of this issue asap. When we void credit card transactions or mark the transaction as 'refund" the process can take 2-3 business days to update on your statement.

FAQ: I placed an order and chose "paypal" as my payment method and I do not see charges in my paypal account for this order, did you receive my payment?
Answer: If you have received a confirmation number for your order but do not have record of payment sent in your paypal account please email sales@empirecards.com and we will send an invoice for your purchase. In the event you sent payment manually please email sales@empirecards.com so we can verify payment and process your order faster. Orders that are not paid for within 24 hours of placing the order are treated as abandoned shopping carts and we will cancel the order.

How fast do you ship orders?
All orders are usually processed within 24-48 business hours of order received. Large bulk orders may take an additional day for processing. Orders placed with Paypal eChecks will wait until the echeck clears into our account before shipping.

Why do business with EmpireCards.com?

We have always maintained a 99.7% or above ebay average with the old ebay feedback system and a 99.9% feedback average with the new feedback system. When grading cards we've been told by vendors that we are simply "too strict" on grading and that we should be more leniant because Magic players do not care. I, Carl McCormick Owner EmpireCards.com, beleive that customers should get what they pay for and will do my best to ensure my company provides quality product on this website at affordable prices. When buying items from you, the customer, I have programmed many competitive buy list numbers to hopefully give you the best possible prices for your extra cards, collections, and possibly even your store.

What do you buy/sell on EmpireCards.com?
We currently only sell Magic the Gathering singles and a select amount of product (spindown dice and sleeves.)

Why are online buy/sell prices different than buy prices at shows?
Regarding sell prices - When we are at shows we do have a separate inventory for display as opposed to bringing the website with us.
All website buy prices are for slightly played or better versions of cards. If your cards are played/heavily played chances are you will not be offered 100% of the current buy price for your item. Sometimes we end up buying large quantities of cards at shows and some buy list numbers go up and other numbers go down based on supply and demand.


Will you travel to buy my items?
Yes, Absolutely... and No depending on what you have. If you're selling a store we would be interested in travelling to see what you have. If you're a semi-local player with $40 in cards we're not going to drive an hour one way for processing of your order - Please submit a buy list order or email buyer@empirecards.com to complete the transaction by mail. If you're a local player with a larger collection ($300+) please email us at buyer@empirecards.com to see if we can make arrangements.

Why sell to EmpireCards.com?
Attention Vendors: If you have a policy that states you will pay your customers 4-8 weeks after order is received please expect the same treatment from us- We see this policy as unacceptable but there is no reason we should pay you faster than you would pay us.
Attention normal customers - You will be paid immediately! Your order will be processed within 24 hours after buy list items arrive (unless we're at a show) - Not 2-6 weeks later like other websites try to do. Paypal will happen immediately and company check will ship within 24 business hours of receiving your package! If you live close enough or if the collection is large enough we will travel to you for in person processing of your order - Payment is made immediately and we'll buy items that are not on the buy list also.

Does EmpireCards.com have a restriction on the number of an item I can purchase?
Answer - yes and no. We completely understand players do purchase items for their friends, family and/or play test groups - You do not want to be limited to 4/8/12 of an item and we are in business to sell items so we do not want to put a restriction on the amount of an item you can purchase. Due to severe market fluctuations - such as a Banned/Restricted update, pricing errors, grading errors, human errors, website malfunction where items oversell, and many other reasons for limiting or refusing a sale we do reserve the right to refuse any sale for any reason.
